NEW!  Dogwood Blossoms

In this workshop students learn to turn the edges of fabric for finished edge traditional appliqué, which can be finished by hand or machine.  Additionally, beading and inking for shading is taught, to make your appliqué go beyond traditional to art.

Think Happy Thoughts

This simple block is something even beginners may finish quickly.  Sandra has the templates drawn on freezer paper and ready to use, so that we can get right to the machine appliqué method best known as "Mock Hand" by machine, because it can easily pass for hand work.  Then, for early finishers, we will layer and begin the process of free motion machine quilting.  This class is a great way to try some appliqué, and a bit of machine quilting.
